Deleting your account

Accounts on the Sudha Interiors staff app are created by the company, and they are closed the same way. To have yours deleted, email dhanush@sudhainteriors.in with the subject Delete my account, from the address you sign in with. If you cannot reach that address any more, call +91 81059 03463 so we can identify you another way.

What happens

Your sign-in is disabled straight away, so the app stops working for you at once. Within 30 days the following is deleted:

• your profile — name, email, phone, employee code, designation, department
• your position history, if any is still inside the 30-day window it is kept for
• your sign-in credentials

What is kept, and why

The business records you created while working here are the company’s books — quotations, orders, invoices, bills, expense claims, ledger entries and the audit trail over them. Indian law requires a company to keep its books for a number of years, under both the Companies Act and the GST Act, so these are not deleted on request. They stay as records of what the business did, not as a profile of you.

Photographs and documents attached to a live project also stay, for the same reason: they are the evidence of work done on a site, and removing them would take a hole out of a project’s history rather than out of your account.
